FIA Warns WhatsApp Can Be Used To “Blackmail” You

The Federal Investigation Agency’s Cybercrime Section has warned WhatsApp users that they may be “blackmailed” through the WhatsApp app.

The Cybercrime Wing tweeted that messages sent on WhatsApp can be recovered later even after being deleted.

The information comes to light just as users are already switching to other messaging apps like Signal and Telegram following WhatsApp’s privacy terms fiasco.
