WhatsApp: No One’s Account Will Be Suspended On 8 Feb

WhatsApp, which has helped relieve millions of users of the messaging platform, promised on Saturday that “no one will suspend or delete the user’s accounts by Feb. 8”.
Users of popular apps have been struggling to determine privacy risks since WhatsApp announced the new Terms of Service. Previously, it was stated that people who did not agree to the new terms and policy would not be able to use the app.

In today’s message, WhatsApp appears to have delayed action according to the above deadline. WhatsApp user’s accounts will not be suspended or deleted on Feb 8.
WhatsApp Tweeted:
Thank you to everyone who’s reached out. We're still working to counter any confusion by communicating directly with @WhatsApp users. No one will have their account suspended or deleted on Feb 8 and we’ll be moving back our business plans until after May – https://t.co/H3DeSS0QfO
