What is UF Apps?
UF Apps are basically the apps provided by the University of Florida to its faculty members and to the students, to enhance learning. UF Apps uses a wide range of cutting-edge technology to provide UF faculty and UF students with the ability to access Windows-based software applications from any computer device – tablets, laptops, desktops, and smartphones – at any time, anywhere.
UF’s information technology staff monitor usage to measure the usefulness of UF Apps and the usefulness of each application made available to the University student and faculty community. This data and user feedback determine how UF Apps can be extended or improved.
UF Apps provides access to software applications from any computer device-laptops, tablets, desktops, and Smartphones-from anywhere, at any time. Faculty and students can start using UF Apps now!
What is the future of UF Apps?
UF Apps started as a pilot project supported by one-time funding from the Student Tech Fee. With overwhelmingly positive feedback, UF Apps has become a complete production UFIT service for students and faculty.
