Shibli Faraz Presents a Report on The Broadsheet-NAB Scandal. Prime Minister Imran Khan constituted a ministerial committee to probe the matter on Monday. Court revealed NAB paid the fake company US$1.5 million.


Shibli Faraz, Federal Minister of Information Broadcasting, submitted a report on scandals related to Broadsheet LLC and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in front of the Federal Cabinet. [ISLAMABAD]

The development took place on Tuesday at a weekly meeting of the federal cabinet presided over by Prime Minister Imran Khan,vand the report also included recommendations to address the issue.

The Prime Minister formed a three-member Ministerial Committee on Monday, led by Faraz, consisting of Federal Minister of Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain and Federal Minister of Human Rights, Dr. Shireen Mazari.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said court documents could be triggered by Broadsheet LLC as accountability has entered into a settlement with an unauthorized individual and paid a fake company about $ 1.5 million. I noticed the scandal after revealing that the accountability bureau had made a deliberate decision to ignore some financial damage.

The trial court that heard the case – Broadsheet LLC vs. the National Accountability Bureau the Islamic Republic of Pakistan – was headed by Sir Anthony Evans. Institute of Arbitrators, Case No.1212001.

The case details the entire saga, from the establishment of the NAB to the signing, the withdrawal of the contract between NAB and Broadsheet LLC three years later, the breach of the contract, and the illegal payment of the errant legal entity in Pakistan. And the court confirmed that the NAB was involved in a deliberate crime.
