Malaysian authorities seized Boeing-777 (PIA Plane) at Kuala Lumpur airport. [Friday]
Sources revealed that The PIA aircraft was seized on local court orders in Malaysia over non-payment of aircraft lease tolls. In 2015 PIA leases two planes, including the Boeing-777 aircraft, from a Vietnamese company.
The plane was seized after the passengers boarded the plane, the sources said. The Plane’s 18 staff members also became stuck in Kuala Lumpur due to the seizure.
PIA said, “The passengers are being cared for and alternative arrangements for their travel have been finalized,”.

According to PIA sources, Flight 895 took off from Karachi and arrived in Kuala Lumpur, and was expected to immediately return to Islamabad, where more crew members were aboard.
PIA said, “The passengers were already on board and the pilot was about to take off, but Malaysian authorities instructed the pilot to stop the plane and get off with all the passengers.”
All the passengers and staff members were sent to a hotel to stay there.
