Sometimes, spammers make you’re tired of rejecting the comment and then you want to get rid of that. You have an option of disabling comments but If you don’t want to do that we have another thing for you. You can add ReCaptcha to your website which will verify that the commenter is not a bot/spammers. Spammers don’t like the Recaptcha then they will not on your website. If you want to add reCAPTCHA to WordPress comment form then you have to follow some of the steps below.
The first thing you need to do is to install and activate a plugin to your WordPress. The plugin is named as “reCAPTCHA in WP comments form“.
After installing and activating the plugin. Go to the Settings, and then reCAPTCHA in Comments.
Submit your website details in the form on Google reCAPTCHA website. In the reCAPTCHA type, you need to select reCAPTCHA v2. In the Domains, add your website address. After adding all the details, press Submit.
It will show two API keys for the website. Copy both keys and paste them in the plugin from under Settings » reCAPTCHA in Comments. Select Save your Google reCAPTCHA API keys pair.
The last thing you have to do is to enable the plugin and press Save Changes. You can also customize the reCAPTCHA by selecting reCAPTCHA Customizer. Well! Everything is done and your website will show the reCAPTCHA in the comments section
